Free iPhone 4G Before Release: Surfers warned about scam

If you have been looking forward to the release of the iPhone 4G, chances are seeing an advert advertising a free iPhone 4G would sound very appealing, however Sophos and other sources are warning that scam emails offering a free iPhone 4G must be ignored.

The email basically states that they need people to test, try and keep an iPhone 4G, if you are interested they ask you to click a link, this link takes you to a fraudulent website which could then lead to your email address being stolen along with your bank account details.

If you receive any dodgy looking emails which offer any free product chances are they are fake, therefore I would strongly recommend leaving the emails unopened, lets face it if anything sounds to good to be true, it probably is.
