Just a few days after we spoke about the free Elf Yourself Android app Vs JibJab eCards app for Christmas 2014, it’s come to our attention the more popular ElfYourself by Office Depot on Google play is confusing users over the second download needed before sharing.
We are not entirely clear what’s going on, but one Product Reviews reader reported to us “I can’t share with the 2014 free Elf Yourself app, or send the videos unless I install a video creator from the Google play store. This is the only problem I have with the app, or it would get 5 stars”. Another added, “having to download another app to save videos is stupid, whatever reason it’s needed they should include this feature within one app”.
It’s evident the majority of users find the Elf Yourself app extremely fun and ratings have increased since the latest release for this year. If there was any issues that standout, then this is one of them. As seen again in this comment from Google play, “I really loved the app and the result is very funny, but that’s crazy how you have to download another app if you want to share it. I also notice crashing on my Galaxy phone”.
Have you been confused by the free Elf Yourself second download within the Android app? We sent an email to those that made the application and asked for details on why this is happening, and if there’s any plan to change it for Elf Yourself 2015 by Office Depot / Max.
We’d also love to know what fixes should be included with the next version at 1.4.1, or 1.5, so leave a comment if you have freezing, crashing, or any other glitches and when they take place.
