Forza 4 demo speeds onto Xbox Live

At last ta taste of the Xbox 360 exclusive racing title, Forza 4, is now available to try, as the demo has finally launched. The demo is available to all Xbox Live Gold members for the moment, although it is reported to eventually be available to all Xbox Live subscribers in a few days’ time.

The popular franchises latest installment is due out on October 14th and is set to be the most hotly anticipated racing game on the Xbox 360 of the year. According to the demo is a massive 1.27GB in size but promises to bring some worthwhile content.

The demo features five of the game’s most exciting cars including the 2009 Pagani Zonda Cinque, the 1970 Mercury Cougar Eliminator, the 2011 Subaru Impreza WRX STI, the 2012 BMW X5 and the 2010 Ferrari 458. Players will be able to try out their driving skills with these motors on the all-new Bernese Alps track which is also included in the demo.

It also features several modes known as Rival Mode events which are all also set on the Bernese Alps track. These events are Alpine Rush, BMW Blitz and Round the Mountain. During Alpine Rush racers will have to compete with slower traffic as they take on the difficult turns of the Bernese Alps Club circuit. BMW Blitz will again see racers taking on slower traffic this time on the slower Stadtplatz circuit. Finally Round the Mountain allows racers to compete in the Pagani Zonda Cinque while hot-lapping a rival through the vistas of the Brunnen Lauterbraunen stretch.

What’s also great about this demo is not only will it show-case the Rival Modes that allows for online competing against friends but it supports official leaderboards for lap times. Check out the demo for yourself by downloading it today.
