Fortnite Android release date frustration from users

It has been four months since Fortnite launched on mobile and specifically on iOS. Unfortunately though, we are still no clearer to knowing when Fortnite is out on Android and it’s clear that Android users are starting to get frustrated about the continued silence.

Right now, the official word from Epic Games is that the ‘targeted’ Fortnite Android release date is ‘Summer 2018’ but there has been no additional info from Epic since then.

The iOS version launched with an invite-only event to curb intense demand and we are presuming the same system will follow on Android given the demand.

On Twitter though, there are daily questions targeted at Epic for a status update on the Android release but so far we’ve seen nothing.

There are rumors of a Fortnite Android compatibility list which includes devices from Huawei and the Google Pixel 2 and XL but until Epic confirms that it is real we won’t post it here.

Are you an Android user getting fed up with the waiting and silence while iOS users have been enjoying the game for four months?

Let us know how you are feeling right now.
