Ford Transit Connect: View in 360 degrees and full features

The Ford Transit Connect has picked up the award for Truck of the Year at the 2010 North American Auto Show. The truck has been available to those in Europe for some time now; North America has only recently had this great commercial vehicle. View it for yourself in 360 degrees over on the Ford website along with its full details.

The small van had debuted at the 2008 Detroit Auto Show, and hit dealers in the summer of 2009. The commercial van stands at 6’8” tall, so is more capable of coping with parking in urban areas. Do not let the small appearance put you off; there is a huge amount of cargo space, 143 cubic feet in fact.

The Ford Transit Connect is ideal for a number of businesses, such as those who deliver flowers, wine or who are in the catering industry. The cargo area is able to handle loads that measure 6.5 feet in length and 4.7 feet in width, with four variations being available to you.

A huge selling point for this vehicle is its fuel-efficiency; the 2.0-liter gasoline version offers 24mpg highway and 19 miles per gallon urban. To give you an idea of its size, think of something between a Ford Flex and the E-Series vans from the Blue Oval. For more information visit The Car Connection.
