If you have ever needed some cash but didn’t know where your nearest cash machine is, a new application is now available. UK ATM Locator 1.0.0 is available for owners of the iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad.
Released by Mityme Solutions the application is ideal if you are in an unfamiliar area or city. Another great feature of the application is it will tell you if the cash machine charges for withdrawals, this can be as high as £2.00 in some cases.
It has over 66,000 cash machines listed which include ones located at banks as well as standalone ATM’s. When the user first starts the app they are asked if it may automatically enter the current location. Or a postcode can be manually be entered by the user, then users are given a scrollable list of ATM’s with the closet location first.
Each location has the exact distance, name of machine, full street address including postcode, and how much if anything the machine charges. If you tap on the listing it gives you a Google Street Map view with pushpin location marking.
UK ATM Locator 1.0.0 is available free of charge on the App Store. iOS 3.0 or later required.
