Find Makarov Is a Live Action Modern Warfare Trailer

It looks like the Find Makarov teaser wasn’t anything officially linked to Modern Warfare 3, as the website countdown has now reached 0 and the ending result is a ‘live action’ Modern Warfare inspired trailer, which you can now watch here.

Although the trailer is pretty good, it’s not the Modern Warfare 3 announcement that most of us had hoped for. This is rather disappointing after the stunning gameplay trailer which accompanied EA’s unveiling of Battlefield 3 at GDC 2011 earlier.

What we did see was a typical Modern Warfare level setting, but played out with actual humans backed up by a narration. We’re not sure if this is just a fan made project, or actually tied to Activision’s upcoming Modern Warfare 3 title, due out in November.

Watch the video below for yourself and let us know your thoughts on it. Are you a bit disappointed, the countdown didn’t reveal something more worthwhile? We said it before and we’re going to say it again – Is Call of Duty in trouble after the Battlefield 3 reveal?

If we find out anymore details on the FindMakarov teaser that hasn’t been mentioned, we’ll give you an update later. You have to admit though, the part where the dude launches a throwing knife is pretty cool!
