We have an interesting article for you to read now, in which the CEO of Square-Enix answers the question most PS3 owners often think about – Why Final Fantasy is on the Xbox 360 in the first place.
When speaking in an interview with Siliconera, Yoichi Wada revealed that Microsoft came to them asking them to develop on the Xbox 360. We presume this happened after the port of Final Fantasy XI when they decided to announce the whole thing at E3 a few years ago.
Wada also added: ”The Xbox 360 console is available in many homes in US and European markets so that was not really a hard decision to make.”
Looks like a pretty safe statement to us, but interesting none the less. What do you make of it? Either way, Final Fantasy looks set to break all kinds of records on both the PS3 and Xbox 360.
