Final Fantasy IX: PS3 release confirmed via Twitter

We told you last week that it was rumored to be coming, but now Square-Enix has confirmed the news we’ve all been waiting to hear – Final Fantasy IX will be hitting the Playstation Store soon.

As reported from AndriaSang, Square-Enix has been using their members account on Twitter to drop all sorts of hints about the game recently.

In keeping up with the trend, CEO Yoichi Wada posted a brief video on Twitter confirming the news to everyone. It now means that Final Fantasy VII, VIII and IX will all be available on the Playstation Store as classics.

What are your thoughts on this. It will hit the Japanese store first – will you be getting it?
