Final Fantasy 7 Remake trailer at PSX 2017 hopes dashed

We know so many of you are waiting for the next piece of official Final Fantasy 7 Remake news from Square-Enix or Sony. With PlayStation Experience 2017 fast approaching many of you have been expecting to see a new FF7 Remake trailer at the event.

Sadly though, unless Sony are being really cruel it looks like we may have to wait until 2018 to see the next portion of gameplay for the highly anticipated title.

Sony has just released a full list of all of the exhibitors who will be attending PSX 2017. There are some huge names on the list including the the likes of Activision, Naughty Dog, Capcom, Ubisoft, Quantic Dream, EA and Insomniac Games.

Missing from the list though is Square-Enix and it could mean that not only will we not see any Final Fantasy VII Remake related reveals, but Kingdom Hearts 3 which fans are also desperate to hear news of.

You can see the full list yourself here over at Sony’s blog if you are interested, but let’s just secretly hope that it is all part of Sony’s evil plan and Square-Enix will still be there right at the end.

In an event where we have seen some amazing reveals down the years recently, are you disappointed that it could be another event without seeing new footage for Final Fantasy 7 Remake?
