Final Fantasy 7 Remake gets new 2018 concept screenshots

It has been a while since we have had any Final Fantasy 7 news to bring you and fans are right to be feeling a little starved of information lately.

Finally though we have something to share with you. While it isn’t the Final Fantasy 7 Remake release date in 2018 that you are all waiting for, Square-Enix has unleashed some brand new FF7 Remake screenshots that are a must-see if you are waiting for the game to come out.

The images were shown at the Final Fantasy “Farewell Stories” 30th Anniversary Exhibition in Tokyo and although they are thought to be ‘concept’ art, it gives a great look at familiar locations in the game.

These include Shinra Headquarters, Mako Reactors, the home of Aeris (we think), plus a look at concept art for Biggs, Jessie and Wedge too.

If the whole game is going to look this good, we think everyone is going to be in for a treat and it’s no wonder why Square Enix are taking the time to make sure they get this masterpiece right and don’t disappoint fans.

Check out all of the images in one place over at the LifeStream forums and let us know what you think.

What part of the game are you looking forward to seeing next? We would love to see how the Golden Saucer has been recreated in full HD.
