Final Fantasy 6 assurance for iOS and Android release date

If you have been anxiously waiting for the release of Final Fantasy 6 on iOS and Android, then we have some promising news for you. Square Enix has given their assurance that the gaming app will be released some time in the winter.

While this might not be a specific Final Fantasy VI release date for Android and iOS devices, it does give us an idea of how long we have to wait. With this in mind, we have a three-month window between December and February to see Final Fantasy VI released.

Kotaku reports that if you are a fan of the old school looks, then you might not enjoy this next version because of its enhanced graphics and sharper sprites. However, you will be pleased to know that the battle system has seen a few improvements, making leveling up much easier.

That is not the only good news to come from Square Enix, as they have also said they are working on the next port, which is Final Fantasy IV: The After Years, as well as number 7 in the series. However, the latter is not guaranteed and will depend on the success of those other two games.

We would suggest you hold off your excitement of Final Fantasy 7 coming to iOS and Android for a while, and to see just how well Final Fantasy VI and The After Years do.
