We have some good news for those of you who have a subscription to Final Fantasy 14. Square-Enix has sent out word that they are once again bringing back the Final Fantasy 14 Lightning Returns event, allowing you to obtain Lightning’s costume in FFXIV.
This is the same event that took place in 2013, but since it is now the anniversary of the game allowing new players the chance to get a taste of Lighting in the game with a special event.
You definitely want to take advantage of this. If you have a female character, you’ll be able to get Lightning’s costume in Final Fantasy XIV and Snow’s costume if you have a male character.
The event is live right now and will run until September 10th at 8am Pacific Time. Remember that if you already completed this event last time it was held in 2013 you won’t be able to get the goodies again – it’s a one time only thing.
The Lightning gear is also the full package as well. Aside from the coat, you’ll be able to get her gauntlets and boots which will unlock after you have fought alongside her.
These are the kind of events that fans will love we expect. Now we just need one for Cloud Strife from Final Fantasy VII and Squall from Final Fantasy VIII.
