Final Fantasy 14 2.51 patch release time for Gold Saucer

The wait is almost over for Final Fantasy XIV players. Square-Enix is about to go live with the highly anticipated Final Fantasy 14 2.51 patch release time which will add the Manderville Gold Saucer into the game.

The name gold saucer should bring the memories flooding back to old school players, as it’s taken from the mini game hub that was featured in Final Fantasy VII all those years ago.

Square-Enix are bringing that to Eorzea and also a real treat for Final Fantasy VIII fans, the return of Triple Triad – the card game that we were completely addicted to and we’re sure most of you were too.

Both are coming as part of the Final Fantasy 14 2.51 patch and a lot more too. Square-Enix has detailed a list of the new features which you can read on their website – separated into Part 1 and Part 2.

The Cactpot Jumbo lottery that takes place once a week sounds like a fantastic idea, giving players the chance to win big simply by drawing numbers.

A Fat Chocobo minion is also up for grabs if you manage to get enough points to redeem it – good luck with that. Check out the links above to Square’s website and let us know how excited you are about the new features.

Do you have fond memories of the gold saucer from Final Fantasy 7? Who managed to get the Parasol?

Leave a comment below when the patch is live in your area!
