FIFA World Cup 2010: Watch It Live Via Streaming From Rogers On Demand Mobile

June 11 will be a date in most of the populations calender this year, and this is all due to the start of the FIFA World Cup 2010. Whether it be in your mobile calender, or one on your fridge is another story, but if you think you will not be able to be down the pub or at home to watch any of the matches, then we have found a solution for you.

I’m sure many of you out there have been searching for the best mobile application to give you your World Cup fix, and if you live in Canada, and are a Rogers customer, you will be able to watch live streaming matches, keep up to date with all the latest news, scores and much more.

You will be able to pause, rewind and fast forward, receive text updates, schedules, standings, highlights, team profiles, and interviews.

The application is available to all major phone devices — the iPhone, Blackberry and and Android and will offer access to all 64 matches, that can be streamed live to your device at $5 per month by subscribing to Rogers on Demand Mobile. This will enable you to get video content from MTV, CBC, Sportsnet and lots of others, but you must add the 2010 FIFA World Cup premium package which costs an additional $10.

So, $15 for full World Cup access on your mobile. I wouldn’t say that was a bad price at all.

Will you be using the Demand Mobile service on Rogers to enable you the best World Cup experience possible? We would be glad to hear your comments.
