FIFA World Cup 2010: EA predicting Spain will win

Have you already started to predict who will win the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa? It seems as if Electronic Arts has, as they have tipped Spain to go on to win the tournament which kicks-off next week.

As reported from Eurogamer, EA didn’t come out with a straight prediction just like that. Instead they used their Fifa World Cup game to simulate the same team and players. The conclusion was that Spain came out on top, with Brazil the runners up and England coming in third place.

Wil EA’s prediction turn out to be true though? It is fair to say that those three teams are among the favorites on paper, but the World Cup always produces a few surprises so we’ll see.

Head over to Eurogamer for more details on this. Who are you tipping to win the World Cup?
