FIFA 17 Free Weekend on PS4, Xbox One with data transfer

We have a last minute heads-up to all gamers on PS4 and Xbox One. If you haven’t heard, there is going to be a FIFA 17 free weekend today, in celebration of Thanksgiving over in the US!

We’ve already told you about the special FIFA 17 ‘Black Friday’ packs that are imminent, but now those who don’t have the game yet will be able to try it completely free.

There are limitations though in place that you need to know about. This is a 10 hour limit from November 24 to November 28 and the start time is from 1pm Eastern Time, or 6PM UK time.

The 10 hour limit can be used on The Journey or Ultimate Team so all modes are accessible with the trial. Also bear in mind that you face a 42GB download if you do decide to give this a go.

However the good news is that any progress you do make on the FIFA 17 Free Weekend, will transfer over to the full game should you decide to purchase after the trial ends – that includes your Ultimate Team lineup if you use the 10 hours to go full out on that.

With special packs coming to FIFA 17 this weekend, it is a very clever move by EA to draw in more players. Will you be taking advantage of this? Let us know in the discussion section below.
