FIFA 17 Black Friday packs event time on PS4, Xbox One

Fans are getting excited about the inevitable countdown to FIFA 17 Black Friday packs coming out on PS4 and Xbox One, possibly today. EA always celebrate this event inside the game and if we follow trends last year it should also mean special FIFA 17 lightning rounds as well.

We can remind you that it was the Thursday before Black Friday in 2016 that EA started their event for FIFA 16. This took place on November 26, 2015 meaning that today is the day in which EA should follow up with the FIFA 17 event if they are sticking to a pattern.

They always do each year, so we should be hours away on finding out what is in store for players this year. For those that are not aware, EA will offer lightning rounds which are packs that are available every hour for a lower amount of coins than usual and which are only available for a time period or by a certain quantity.

That means they are going to be in high demand and we saw last year that packs literally sold out in minutes from the store leaving a lot of players unhappy.

As you can see from our screenshot above, the event was revealed at 10am UK time so we don’t have long to go. It was called the Ultimate Black Friday event for FUT 16, so will we get the same event for FIFA 17?

We also know that Black Friday for FIFA 16 started at 5am last year, meaning that the release time for FIFA 17 Black Friday packs could be 5am UK time on November 25 on PS4 and Xbox One.

Remember this event is one day only and will also include special tournaments so there will be something for everyone!

Keep checking back and we’ll update this once EA confirm the details for the event this year.
