We’re not sure what is going on today, but there seems to be a lot of problems with servers going down for different games. First Destiny, then NBA 2K16 now FIFA 16 servers are down on May 3 for unscheduled maintenance.
We say unscheduled as EA has not Tweeted out about the FIFA 16 servers not working for Ultimate Team which is unusual as they always give players a heads-up.
However right now if you try to enter the game, you may get the message “We are sorry but there has been an error connecting to FIFA 16 Ultimate Team. You will be returned to the FIFA 16 main menu.”
You can see this error above which is happening on PS4 and Xbox One right down. Is EA preparing a surprise update, or is there something wrong with the servers that they need to fix?
