FIFA 16 UK Vs US release date and editions

We are closing in on the highly anticipated FIFA 16 UK and US release dates. EA will once again be letting USA ‘soccer’ fans get the nod with a three day head start before football fans in the UK get to play the game.

This is standard practise by now though, with FIFA 16 being available on Tuesday September 22, followed by the UK FIFA 16 launch date on Friday September 25.

While that may be disappointing to some, you also need to make the decision on which version of FIFA 16 you want to buy this year.

There will be three on offer, with the standard edition, deluxe edition and for hardcore players, the FIFA 16 Super Deluxe Edition.

Each version comes with different bonuses: The FIFA 16 Standard for example comes with 15 Ultimate Team Gold packs which players will get once a week over the course of 15 weeks.

On top of this players will also get up to two new FIFA 16 Celebrations, with the KO or Bailando robot – we’ll be going into more details on these in a separate post this week.

The Deluxe Edition is similar, except for the fact that players will get 40 Gold packs as well as a 5 match loan item for Lionel Messi, in addition to the two celebrations.

The Super Deluxe pack is the most luxurious of all, but is only available as a digital purchase not physical. It comes with 40 Jumbo Premium Packs, which carry even better odds than the gold packs to get the best players in Ultimate Team and 3 loan player items – it costs $99 though.

The question is, what version will you be buying to suit your tastes? Perhaps what you should be asking yourself is, whether the FIFA 16 Super Deluxe Edition is worth it or not.
