FIFA 16 release date preparation

We are now less than one week away from the glorious FIFA 16 release date that so many of you have been waiting for. Luckily EA has given fans a treat by opening up the FIFA 16 Web App early and with it the first TOTW of the new season.

If you missed all the action of TOTW 1, you can recap that here as it features none other than a 94-rated Cristiano Ronaldo card.

For those that are still unaware though as to when FIFA 16 is out in UK and other countries around the world – September 22 is the official launch.

However September 22 applies to US gamers only. If you want to know when FIFA 16 is released in UK this is going to be on Thursday September 24 – two days later.

Many still don’t know this so we wanted to make it clear. EA has decided that UK gamers shouldn’t have to wait an extra day compared to the rest of Europe so they are bringing the launch forward one day.

That means we have one week to go until the UK launch FIFA 16, so things are getting really exciting. If you haven’t visited the Web App yet as a returning player from FIFA 15 FUT – go here to start opening your packs early.

Were you thinking that FIFA 16 would be due out on Friday, rather than Thursday? Let us know where you are buying the game this year.
