FIFA 15 web app joins demo release expectation

Hype surrounding the FIFA 15 Ultimate Team web app release date has reached another high today after EA servers seemed to be down for a short time. We’ve heard from some of our readers trying out the current application, especially as fans expect the FIFA 15 demo and web app to release either this week or next. In fact, last year we saw the web app launch in the middle of the month.

There’s hope of seeing a FIFA 15 demo this week, although EA hasn’t been very clear on any date and information has been limited. One Product Reviews reader said, “I was getting prepared for FIFA 15 and took a look at the 14 web app, although it’s telling me I don’t have FIFA for some reason”. Another added, “I can’t open the web app now, it don’t seem to be working”.

We’ve seen a lot of tweets today from fans hoping to see the FIFA 15 demo before the web app releases, and the majority of fans expect the latter to arrive next week as well.

You can see some tweets below highlighting current discussion on Twitter in the United States, UK, and across Europe. We touched on the PES 2015 demo yesterday, and we’d expect EA Sports to be ready with their FIFA 15 demo maybe before PES deliver.

When are you expecting to see both the FIFA 15 demo and web app release? Are you hoping to see either of these launch this week? We’d also love to hear about any problems you’ve been having with EA servers for certain games today, especially FIFA, so leave a comment below.

Update: EA has just confirmed the PC demo will be out on September 9th, although no release time just yet or what teams will be included.
