FIFA 15 November update for MLS, Kaka

We have some good news for those of you who are playing a copy of FIFA 15 in the US. Most of you are probably wondering if New York City FC and Orlando City SC will be in FIFA 15. We can say that they are definitely coming as we can confirm that a FIFA 15 November update will go live soon adding the MLS expansion teams to all versions.

It means that the likes of Frank Lampard and David Villa will go back to their clubs and won’t have their respective Manchester City or Melbourne City cards on FIFA 15 Ultimate Team any more.

At the moment you can get their player cards but with their loan clubs assigned – a great decision by EA to make both Lampard and Villa recruitable until their parent clubs are properly integrated into the MLS.

Now we have confirmation that the move will take place sometime in November with EA’s FIFA 15 November update. An official Tweet sent out by Orlando City SC confirms this, while it will also apply to New York City FC as well.

The obvious question that needs to be asked though – if EA are adding in these teams, how will they be playable in competitive match modes when they don’t even have enough players yet?

As far as we’re aware, New York City FC only has six official players, while Orlando City SC has nine including Brazilian Kaka. At the time of writing though, both clubs do not have a goalkeeper, so we’re interested to see how this plays out if the update is coming soon.

Are you patiently waiting for the FIFA 15 MLS expansion teams to be added to the game? Let us know what you think will happen, as surely both New York City FC and Orlando City SC do not have enough time to sign seven players between them in November.
