FIFA 15 Liverpool player ratings outside Top 50

With the FIFA 15 demo now live on all platforms apart from PS4, we wanted to talk about the FIFA 15 Top 15 ratings on Ultimate Team, after we have noticed that there is no Liverpool players included on the list.

This has become quite a heated topic on social media, with many Liverpool fans arguing that the likes of Steven Gerrard, Daniel Sturridge and new signing Mario Balotelli should all be in the top 50.

The reality is though that the Top 50 rated player is Giorgio Chiellini with a 84 rating, so it looks like the players above may have just missed out and will instead be on the Top 60-70 list.

If we are to believe rumors, Steven Gerrard, Sturridge and Balotelli are all going to be rated 84 on FIFA 15, meaning that they are definitely unlucky to miss out on the top 50 if true. Is this reasonable considering that the likes of Hugo Lloris is number 45 on the top 50 list with an 85 rating?

We’re also hearing that man of the moment Raheem Sterling is only going to be rated 80 on FIFA 15, which is surprising given his rapid improvement last season – don’t forget that this is a player which EA awarded an 83 card for being in the team of the Premiership at the end of last season.

EA are also thought to be an official partner of Liverpool FC, but have no Liverpool players in the top 50? This may raise a few eyebrows considering that Messi is the global star of FIFA 15 and was given a higher rating than Cristiano Ronaldo who had a better season than Messi.

Do you agree that the likes of Gerrard, Sturridge and Balotelli deserve to be in the top 50 players on FIFA 15 Ultimate Team, or do you think the rumored ratings of 84 for all three players are fair?

What an absolute joke. FIFA and EA should be embarrassed by the ratings they have given to Liverpool. To give Javi Martinez a place in the top 50 and leave out the likes of Gerrard, Mario, Sturridge and even Sterling is pathetic. They need to seriously look at themselves and admit they have made a huge mistake. Liverpool were the best performing team in the premier league last season whether anyone likes it or not, its fact. Very very disappointed. I for one will not be buying this shambles of a game.

For a game that is meant to base the player ratings for the last season and nothing else, it sure looks like they dont rate Liverpool coming second much. Also why is it that Man United strikers are so highly rated from a very very poor season yet Sturridge, who came second in the epl for goals scored, rates far behind them?

Sturridge, etc are still developing players and 84 is probably fair, but – objectively – Gerrard definitely deserves to be in the top 50, even if you’re not a Liverpool fan.
