FIFA 14 Ultimate Team gains Neville insight

EA Sports has been keeping news about their online football club flowing and the latest development for FIFA 14 Ultimate Team reveals a deal with ex-Manchester United defender Gary Neville. The publisher explained Neville would offer a lot of insight about the Premier League with a column that runs biweekly.

FIFA 14 Ultimate Team fans have both welcomed and hated the idea of Gary Neville in an ambassadorial role for its 2013/2014-football season. Some fans explain that Neville is a great choice thanks to his role with England and 400 plus appearances for Manchester United, although others just dislike the man for their own personal reasons.

On the side of those that hate these sorts of deals, it seems that some petitions have started focusing on license monopolies in football simulation games. These gamers want to see equally shared licenses in this type of game, although we will let Product Reviews readers debate that desired outcome in the comments.

EA stated in a release that Gary Neville would bring “deep understanding” of football to FIFA 14 Ultimate Team and will discuss on topic information particularly about the Premier League.

The FIFA Ultimate Team Legends content will be exclusive to Xbox One, so this would be one reason for gamers of that platform to be pretty excited. Only a few days ago we talked about EA’s claim of innocence on the topic of exclusives.

Neville also commented on the impact FIFA has had with “football culture” and how it has become part of this culture. FIFA 14 Ultimate Team’s success comes from the partnerships it makes, licensing deals and the fans that appreciate what EA delivers.

Do you think you have the ability to create the ultimate football team? The bottom-line is we all like to feel we can manage the best team of football superstars, so FIFA 14 Ultimate Team gives us the chance to prove it.

FIFA 14 has a release date of September 27 for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. The next-generation version will land in November for both PS4 and Xbox One.
