FIFA 14 news within days, commentator rumors

We have some good news for FIFA fans now as it looks like we could be very close to the official FIFA 14 unveiling. New rumors are suggesting that EA will reveal the game for the first time, at Real Madrid’s Bernabau stadium within days. Not only that, but FIFA 14 could be getting a brand new commentator as well which will please a lot of you.

While FIFA 14 news from EA is obviously very welcome, we have a feeling that a lot of you are still playing FIFA 13 on a daily basis. There’s so much longevity in the latest game that it almost feels as if FIFA 14 would come too soon if it is released around the September, October period.

The latest rumor flying around though, is that FIFA 14 is going to be shown behind closed doors in Spain sometime this week. Details on this apparent reveal will then be revealed to the public on April 17 – according to Spanish site RegionPS. So far, we have heard that the game will feature a big emphasis on social features to keep you connected, along with potential worrying features that may involve an always-on connection.

In other news, a separate rumor suggests that none other than Gary Neville could be the new man to join the FIFA 14 commentary team. Since he retired, he has become a regular pundit on Sky Sports and has actually gained a lot of respect from neutral fans in the process as well.

There’s no word on whether he will be replacing Alan Smith’s role from FIFA 13, or if he will just serve as an additional member on top. Either way, a new commentary member will be a good move and we doubt there will be any complaints if Gary Neville is selected.

Are you ready to see FIFA 14 already, or do you think that it is also a little bit too early? Also, would you like Gary Neville to commentate on games alongside Martin Tyler or do you have any other suggestions?
