FIFA 14 Messi, Steven Gerrard pot luck

It is time of the week again for FIFA 14 players, as EA has once again selected their FIFA 14 Ultimate Team of the Week. The rare players on offer include some very nice surprises, an even better Messi card and a pleasantly surprising FIFA 14 Steven Gerrard inform card as well.

After Liverpool’s 3-0 away demolition of Manchester United over the weekend, we had a sneaky suspicion that Gerrard may be picked. He scored two penalties and almost had a third, but ultimately his performance has caught the eye of EA and he finds himself on the Team of the Week roster.

Messi has been there many times as we all know and now frustrated FIFA 14 Ultimate Team players who have endured pack opening stress in the past, have another chance to get him. He has a whopping 96 card including a 93 pace skill and an even higher 97 dribble ability.

On top of that, 99 for ball control and 99 for finishing so good luck trying to get one. We’ve seen some videos already of players managing to get the inform 84 Gerrard card, but we haven’t seen clear evidence of anybody getting Messi yet.

Let us know how you have been getting on with your FIFA 14 Ultimate Team pack openings this week. Have you managed to scoop an inform player – how much money have you spent so far?
