FIFA 13 touts new Man City home kit for 2012-13

We recently showed you a new FIFA 13 trailer which unveiled the brand new Arsenal away kit for the upcoming 2012-13 Premier League football season. Now it’s the turn of Man City it seems, as we have another look at the game previewing their new home kit that will be in the game.

In yet another example of how the gaming industry has fallen victim to countless advertising and exclusivity deals, Man City are going to be one of the main partners of the upcoming game, along with Arsenal as we recently told you and also Tottenham Hotspur.

The unveiling of Arsenal’s new Away kit turned a few heads as it unveiled a shocking new purple and black striped design, but it’s safe to say that there won’t be any shocks for Man City fans wanting to check out the new home kit in FIFA 13. It basically looks the same as last year, albeit with some minor changes which we’re guessing die-hard City fans will point out to us later.

What we’re more interested about is the impressive looking footage in the trailer which shows Man City stars David Silva, Samir Nasri, Mario Balotelli and Premier League winner Sergio Aguero all lining up to take a free kick. It looks very nice visually and let’s hope that you’ll be able to do all of these fakes and tactical-style free kicks in the game when it releases on September 25 – coincidentally the very same date when the new World of Warcraft expansion hits which we just told you about here.

Are you a fan of these new kit reveals in FIFA 13 trailers? Unlike the Arsenal away kit which was first unveiled simultaneously in real life and on FIFA, you may have already seen the new Man City home kit alongside pictures of Vincent Kompany and former Oasis rocker Noel Gallagher.

The question is though – are Man City going to be able to defend their title? We’re also waiting for EA to add Mario Balotelli’s hulk celebration to the game.
