FIFA 13 gameplay previews Arsenal away kit 2012-2013

If you are a fan of Arsenal football club, we have a treat for you. The club has just shown off their new away kit for the 2012-2013 Premier League season, but the best news of all is that the kit is even going to be playable in this year’s FIFA 13 game.

Given the huge success of FIFA 12, you can imagine that there is a great deal of expectation riding on FIFA 13 as EA try to come up with new ways to once again fend off competition from the once top dogs in Konami’s Pro Evolution Soccer franchise.

It looks like Arsenal has struck a deal with EA to make them one of the main partners of FIFA 13, as EA has released a brand new FIFA 13 trailer all about Arsenal’s new purple away kit. We’re not sure if we dig the new purple and black striped theme, but it is nice to see EA going all out to make FIFA 13 as realistic as possible in comparisons with the real season.

This move may be linked with a similar deal that EA striked with Manchester City for FIFA 12. Some of you may be aware that City’s red and black striped top also made an appearance in FIFA 12 prior to the game coming out, so we’re guessing that it is Arsenal’s turn now.

Watch the video below to see Arteta and co in the new kit. EA has generously opted against showing the hideous pink goalkeeper’s kit that Wojciech SzczÄ™sny will have to put up with next season, but you can spot Theo Walcott’s pink boots in the trailer. What was he thinking?
