FIFA 13 demo teams won’t include Madrid or Barcelona

Just hours ago we told you about a second PES 2013 demo that Konami will soon be offering up for download for Xbox 360 and PS3. Now we have some additional information on the highly anticipated FIFA 13 demo to tell you about.

When EA first announced the FIFA 13 demo release date at GamesCom, they didn’t reveal what teams will be included in the demo when it releases on September 11. Luckily for you, we now have that information and can tell you that there will be five teams available for selection.

Thanks to sources at the FIFASoccerBlog, the five teams in the demo are Manchester City, Arsenal, AC Milan, Juventus and the somewhat surprising Borussia Dortmund. Having said that, they did win the German league last season and Juventus and City won their respective Serie A and Premiership titles, so perhaps that was EA’s way of thinking when deciding who to put in the demo.

There’s no space for either Real Madrid or Barcelona in the demo, so you’ll have to buy the full game to see the likes of Ronaldo and Messi in action and see what their stats are like this time around. The demo is only going to have one stadium on offer as well and that honor goes to Manchester City and their Etihad Stadium.

Are you happy with the teams that EA has offered in the demo, or do you wish they would offer some more selections like a few French or maybe even a Portugese team like Benfica or Porto? Either way, this is just a taster of the full game and don’t forget we have the exciting FIFA 13 Transfer Window update to look forward to in January as well.
