If you get hands-on with the FIFA 13 demo you won’t understand the commentary imitations fully, which will surly show their face after spending many hours in the full version. This is exactly what we noticed with the previous game, and after spending well over 500 hours reviewing/enjoying the game it becomes evident that commentators start to repeat the same phases too much.
Within the last couple of days a new FIFA 13 video landed on YouTube, which gives further insight into match commentary and various audio for the Career Mode. You’ll see details on some of the new FIFA 13 commentator features and this includes “Sideline Commentator“, and “Career Mode Radio“. These new options bring welcomed enhancements but still lack in what we want to see, and what some of our readers want, which is the ability to add new commentary via downloadable content over time.
FIFA 13 DLC to stop certain aspects becoming tiresome — To say we’ve never got bored of FIFA 12 would be an understatement, which is mainly due to playing matches against friends and family on a weekly basis and this brings a level of enjoyment that lasts much longer than any single player option. While it’s fair to say that the same fun could be had with the last few generations of FIFA games, there are also major improvements enjoyed with each update that changes how the regular games with friends are played.
When we went hands-on with the latest FIFA 13 demo it showed vast improvements in the way a football moves, which affects gameplay dramatically and more realism with ball spin makes things interesting and dynamic. When playing the game this much it’s obvious that certain features could become tiresome, but it doesn’t have to be this way and even a paid DLC option for adding fresh content would bring life back to the same old commentator words and other features.
If we had regular FIFA 13 DLC packs, what would you like included? Watch the video below showing some of the new commentary features, and then let us know what you think of these and what innovative ideas you have for the game in 2012/2013? One reason we might never see enough DLC with FIFA games is thanks to EA wanting to create a need for gamers to purchase the yearly instalments, so DLC for FIFA 13 might never keep it fresh enough for you.
