FIFA 13 Career mode impressive, Kinect debatable

If you are planning to pick up FIFA 13 and are really interested to know what is new in Career Mode, you’ll be pleased to know that EA has added one major new aspect to the game – the ability to manage international teams as well as your current club team.

It was clear that EA needed to offer something fresh for gamers as an incentive to pick up FIFA 13, and we’re hearing that international career mode will just be one of the new modes that are heading your way.

A detailed report by the FIFASoccerBlog adds that international mode will give you the option of competing in all of the major tournaments, while job offers for international teams will depend on how well you are doing with your current club and even acute factors such as what nationality you are and what league you are managing in.

There’s also going to be in-match live score updates to keep you well in the loop on what is going on elsewhere in the league, while Sky Sports News fans in the UK will be pleased to hear that there’s also a ticker across the screen giving out information similar in the style as you see on TV.

Career mode sounds really good already and you can check out other features in the link above. There’s going to be an extra bonus for those picking up the Xbox 360 version though as it has been confirmed that the game will support Kinect voice control. EA has released a preview feature showing off how this works and it lets you see how you can use Kinect to enforce some instant tactics via changing formation or making some substitutions – without the need of any button presses.

You can even shout ‘take a shot’ at the screen for your player to have a go on goal, while yelling profanities at the screen could get you booked as well – it’s very gimmicky, but we like it nevertheless. Check out Kinect mode below for yourself and let us know your thoughts on it.
