FIFA 12 Gets New Engine, Better Accuracy, Momentum & Realism

If you are a big fan of the FIFA video games you may be wondering what’s in store for this year’s installment and whether it will be worth buying, well we can reveal that big changes and vast improvements are incoming thanks to a rebuilt game engine.

According to a recent article posted on VG247 FIFA 12 uses an engine which has been rebuilt from scratch, this will solve lots of problems and result in better outcomes, momentum and accuracy.

FIFA’s lead gameplay designer, Aaron McHardy, claims that this is the biggest change FIFA has seen in four years and stated “Now we’re opening up the game so you can get into these situations and see new cool and interesting things, but also it lays a foundation for places for us to go in the future”. We expect the game to be playable at E3 2011, we can’t wait to see how much of an improvement the new engine brings.

No release date has been given yet, however FIFA games usually arrive in later September early October, if you can’t wait for its release check out our previous post where we spoke about some of the game’s details.
