FIFA 12 Announced for Nintendo 3DS, Truly Innovative

Up until today we have not been sure whether this year’s FIFA game would come to the Nintendo 3DS, well a recent article posted on EA has confirmed just this, not only this but apparently the 3DS version will be truly innovative.

With 3D visuals and new touch screen controls the game will be quite different to what we have seen before, there is even talk of the first-ever 3D street football. If you are not a fan of touch screen controls don’t worry as they are optional. You can find out a little more about the upcoming game’s features here.

EA claim that the 3DS release will offer the largest feature set ever developed by themselves for a hand-held console, as you would expect there are lots of licensed clubs (over 500) and all of today’s best players to control. Apparently we can also expect better set pieces and a curved street football pitch which really shows off the 3D capabilities.

Matt Prior, FIFA 12’s producer, claims that the innovative features and authentic players will make the game the best football game available on the Nintendo 3DS, we wonder how Konami will respond with its next Pro Evolution Soccer 3D release.

Do you think you will buy FIFA 12 for the 3DS?
