FIFA 12 3DS Won’t Feature Online Play, Local Only

We already have had some news about FIFA 12 that we’ve brought to you including the fact that it will be released on the Nintendo 3DS. The news we have today suggests that FIFA 12 3DS won’t feature online play, only local.

The news comes just after EA’s announcements that were made stating that there would be an online head-to-head option. The announcement that they made earlier this month, also suggested that this mode would be accompanied by seven other modes including a new 5-a-side mode.

According to the interview at Nintendo World Report, Matt Prior, Producer of FIFA 12 3DS has now stated the head-to-head feature can be played over a local network and that server-based online play will be available in the future.

The game will include over 500 club licenses, other game modes such as Be A Pro and 3D Street Soccer, but won’t include exclusive 3DS features such as SpotPass and StreetPass. You can check out more details about FIFA 12 3DS in the full article at Nintendo World Report by clicking the link above.
