Fiat 500 Star Wars design not a customization option

Whenever there is a car show on we can always expect a few strange things to make an appearance, and we would have to say the Fiat 500e with its stormtrooper livery is a fine example of that. However, before you get too excited, there is not going to be a Fiat 500 Star Wars: The Force Awakens customization option, as this is only a custom-designed model, which is currently on show at the LA Auto Show.

This model will certainly go down well with Star Wars fans that will attend the LA Auto Show during the public days, which begins today. Fiat is just one of 7 brands that will be working in collaboration with Lucasfilm as part of the promotional campaign for the upcoming movie that is due to be released on December 18.

Fiat 500 Star Wars option

While it might be cool to look at, let’s face it, this would not make a good custom option because it is too gimmicky. Just look at the images above and below of the exterior and interior. The livery is based on the armor of a Stormtrooper, and so is white in color with custom black livery. This effect has been achieved with a car body wrap, and is very easy to make out that Stormtrooper helmet.

The inside might be an overkill for some of you, as its all black and white. the front and rear seats have been custom upholstered in leather and Alcantara. The white dashboard has a Star Wars logo on it, along with several other details, all of which can be seen in these much larger images on this Chrysler Media Page.

If you are off to the LA Auto Show over the weekend, then look out for the custom-wrapped DVF (Diane von Furstenberg) Fiat 500X.
