Ferrari LaFerrari vs. P1, 918 Spyder – Winner not so clear

Now that the first round of Ferrari LaFerrari reviews have finally landed, we had hoped to see how this latest Hybrid Hypercar would compare to its rivals, but it is not as easy as that. The reason for this is because all three have yet to be pitted against each other, although this will happen over the coming months.

Ferrari LaFerrari vs. McLaren P1 and the Porsche 918 Spyder — The winner of this showdown is not so clear because we can only go on what we know so far, such as specs and the feel of each going on memory. It will not be until all three can get on track at the same time, which will be an episode of Top Gear you will not want to miss — wonder who will get what car?

Personally, I feel as though Jeromny Clarkson will get the P1, Richard Hammond the 918 Spyder and James May the LaFerrari.

It will be a very tight battle, although we did point out that Porsche will lag behind the other two, although that is going just on specs alone.

Ferrari LaFerrari vs. P1, 918 Spyder

The thing is, all three use different technologies in order to harvest power, although the Ferrari LaFerrari is able to harvest electric power all the time, rather than having to wait until it is built up, which is just what the other two have to do.

From what we know so far, the Ferrari seems to be the quickest in a straight line, although the P1 seems to deliver more torque, it is for this reason why it will be such a close battle. Having said that, with electric power available all the time, one has to believe that the Ferrari will be quicker around a track because of the power delivery.

Don’t count out the Porsche though because its four-wheel drive system will help to give it more grip, which comes in handy when giving it the beans on a track, as there is less chance of understand through the corners.

When we finally get to see the Ferrari LaFerrari vs. McLaren P1 vs. Porsche 918 Spyder showdown, which will be victorious?
