Ferrari 458 Speciale eye candy inspired by Dodge

There is a lot to look forward to during next months Frankfurt Motor Show, because while there will be some amazing new Concept cars to lust over, there will also be the new Mercedes GLA, the production version of the Porsche 918 Spyder, BMW M4, and also the Ferrari 458 Speciale.

Ferrari has released a video teaser of what we would like to call Ferrari 458 Speciale eye candy, and while watching we began to salivate over the keyboard. However, we cannot help think that some of the design flares have taken inspiration from the Dodge Charger, Dart and other such vehicles from the brand.

This is to be expected because Chrysler is said to be sharing a range of information with Ferrari, and vice versa. At first you might think this is a bad idea because Ferrari can bring much more to the table, but this would be wrong because Chrysler has information, technology and expertise that could help the Prancing Horse in key areas of development.

Back to that video; Ferrari has not given much away, but just enough to whet your appetite in the build-up to Frankfurt next month.

Do you think we will see any Dodge inspired design flares with the Ferrari 458 Speciale, or is it just a trick of lighting, or lack of it as the case may be?
