Father’s Day 100th Anniversary: Gift Ideas

Most of you will know that this Sunday, June 20, 2010 will be Father’s Day — but what you might not know is that it will be the 100th Anniversary of this great day. There are so many gift ideas to show your dad how much you care — but none more than a hand-made gift from his young child.

Debbie Turner from OnlyKent has been looking at some of these handmade gift ideas to give to your father on this very special day. This is the one day where they can relax and not put their hands in their pocket for a change — well that is meant to be the idea.

Before you consider making a gift yourself, why not get him a Best Dad trophy first — yes it is corny, but they will love it. If you head over to Activity Village, there is a huge list of craft products for you to make yourself. DaniellesPlace has some pre-made handcrafted gifts for you to choose from also.

There are so many ideas that it would take too long to write them all down. Why not make him a handmade card — this will have a more personal touch and will show that you have spent time and effort. Trust me, your father will love it.
