We have some pretty exciting news now for those of you that are fans of ‘The Fast and the Furious’ franchise, as video game developer Gameloft has recently signed a licensing agreement with Universal Partnerships & Licensing to allow them to both develop and publish a new racing game.
As a recent article over at prnewswire.com reports, the upcoming game — titled ‘Fast Five The Movie: Official Game’ — is due to be released for tablet PCs, mobile phones and smartphones on April 28th, which just happens to be the day before the street racing action movie ‘Fast Five’ hits the big screen.
Fast Five The Movie: Official Game will see players taking on the role of Brian O’Conner (played by Paul Walker in the movie), as he races through the streets of the Dominican Republic, Hong Kong and Rio de Janeiro. Players will have to avoid obstacles along the way such as vehicle crashes and explosions.

Besides Paul Walker, the movie also stars Vin Diesel, Ludacris, Tyrese Gibson and Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.
