Far Cry 4 location news focuses on Himalayas map

As we look forward to another instalment in the Far Cry series some valuable information has come to light about the Far Cry 4 location. According to an inside source the game could be set in, near or around the vicinity of the Himalayas.

As far as Far Cry 4 news is concerned this sounds like a distinct possibility going by a series of tweets by industry insider Superannuation, and although we are still regarding this as speculation until something official is revealed, we get the impression this source has been reliable in the past.

The recent claim coincides with rumours Far Cry 4 is currently in development, and we understand this has come from the LinkedIn CV of one employee. It is said that Ubisoft Shanghai are working to bring Far Cry 4 to the fans and enthusiasts can check out the emerging tweets from Superannuation’s official twitter feed.

According to this feed, Far Cry 4 is expected to be “transposed to the Himalayas,” or somewhere nearby, and we feel that with previous settings in the deserts and jungles could mean a colder location might just be a plausible idea. With this in mind, we also get the impression this new location could contain monsters of some sort, maybe even a yeti.

In other Far Cry 4 news, last month we spoke about the game releasing this June, although at this point the setting was still being debated. While many fans of the franchise would be eager to see a new Far Cry game on the next-gen systems, we are concerned about the rumoured setting and whether gamers will find this a bit on the boring side.

Therefore, we would love to know whether you would welcome a Far Cry 4 location near Himalayas map? Do you like the idea of monsters in the upcoming game?
