Fallout 4 Vs Dishonored 2 for Bethesda’s next game

It has been a while since we last spoke about Dishonored 2, but we’re pleased to say that whispers are again heating up on a potential Dishonored 2 announcement this month. Rumors are suggesting it is going to happen at GamesCom 2014 and it could be one of the projects that Bethesda are working on after wrapping up on Skyrim.

To recap, Dishonored 2 news first ignited in March 2014 when we saw apparent images that allegedly confirmed that a Dishonored 2 “Darkness of Tyvia” game was in development by Arkane Studios.

At the time that rumor was leading up to a planned announcement at E3 2014, but as we now know that didn’t happen. Was the rumor incorrect then or were Bethesda simply not ready to show off the game just yet?

Either way, Dishonored 2 is back at the forefront this week as a selection of rumors have appeared for your viewing pleasure. First, a tipoff sent to VG247 about a GamesCom 2014 reveal in August and also a more detailed report from Nowgamer who have been sent details on the game from their insider source.

GamesCom would be a perfect location to reveal such a big title, although we are secretly hoping that Fallout 4 news comes first or at least the announcement of a Skyrim PS4 and Xbox One version – we still don’t know why that hasn’t happened yet.

Do you place Dishonored 2 as a game that takes top priority for you in terms of unreleased Bethesda projects, or do you agree that Fallout 4 and a next-gen Skyrim release would be more exciting?

Dishonored 2 would be great, but we need more concrete rumors we feel. Let us know which game you want see from Bethesda next.
