With the upcoming ‘timed exclusive’ release of Fallout 4 VR on HTC VIVE coming up next week, we can see that sadly there is still no Fallout 4 PSVR release date in sight, with fans surprised that they won’t be able to play it at the same time as PC users.
Right now, the only way to enjoy Fallout 4 VR is to buy the PC version for HTC VIVE which releases on December 12 – a revised date after the original planned launch back in October.
Unfortunately though, if you want to play the PlayStation 4 version you are going to have to wait until next year as Bethesda has not yet confirmed when Fallout 4 VR is out on PSVR.
It’s somewhat strange as it’s the opposite situation as far as Skyrim VR is concerned as you can only play it on PSVR and not other platforms.
Hopefully Bethesda will shed some more light on this soon but for now you’ll need a HTC Vive kit if you want to enjoy Fallout 4 in VR – buy it here now and you’ll get a copy of the game for free.
Are you surprised that you can only play Fallout VR on PC and not PS4? Let us know your thoughts on this and if you are waiting for the console release date.
