Fallout 4 news recap, studying the crumbs

There are so many upcoming games that have got the gaming community excited, such as Uncharted 4, Red Dead Redemption 2 and Fallout 4, and it is the latter that we will be taking a closer look at today. Towards the end of 2013 the rumors in regard to a possible Fallout 4 announcement gained traction because of a so-called countdown until its reveal, which as you know proved to be fake.

However, before all that kicked off the first Fallout 4 rumor started way back in January 2013, where supposedly a voice actor for the next game in the series had said he was back in the studio. Bethesda never commented on this and over the coming months the rumor pretty much whittled away.

We hear from voice actors all the time claiming they are currently working on a new game, yet when it comes down to it, more often than not they are talking about a completely different game and not the one we were hoping for.

The rest of 2013 was pretty quiet on Fallout 4 news that was until November, when The Survivor 2299 web site appeared online claiming to be a countdown to official details of Fallout 4. This caused a great deal of confusion because it really seemed like the real deal for many fans of the franchise, and so had to wait until the clock reached a certain date in December to see if there was any kind of announcement from Bethesda.

In the meantime this kept the Fallout 4 hype alive for several weeks with all sorts of rumors suggesting possible settings (Boston) and storylines that was until The Survivor 2299 turned out to be a hoax. This sort of angered people but, also kept excitement levels running high.

Our final piece of the Fallout 4 mystery is to do with those leaked documents that offered details on the script for the voice-acting cast but, again Bethesda said that nothing is true until you hear it direct from them.

Whether Fallout 4 will be released this year is anyone’s guess, but we believe that they have been working on it ever since they completed Skyrim, and then moved the development process up a gear once the final Elder Scrolls V DLC was out the door.

Do you think we will finally get the Fallout 4 teaser we have been hoping for during E3 2014?
