As most of you are aware, the Game Awards 2014 is coming up and there are big expectations in terms of new game reveals. Unfortunately, despite the inevitable interest in a Fallout 4 announcement, we can confirm that it’s not going to happen as Pete Hines has just confirmed that as fact.
We haven’t heard too much from Bethesda’s communication man in recent months, largely due to the fact they are probably working on their 2015 games in secrecy.
That hasn’t stopped rumors from suggesting that a Fallout 4 reveal for December 2014 could be close though, especially given that Bethesda announced Skyrim at the same event several years ago.
For those that are getting their hopes up though, don’t. Pete Hines has confirmed that they have nothing new to show at the event. However, Bethesda will be attendance to support Machine Games who could be up for award consideration for Wolfenstein: The New Order.
You didn’t really expect an announcement did you? Or even if it was coming, you didn’t expect Bethesda to tell you that they would be announcing Fallout 4?
One thing we would say, is that Bethesda are masters of their craft in keeping things a secret and if they need to throw off fans with some harmless deception tactics – they will.
As it stands though, you won’t see Fallout 4 on Friday in Las Vegas, or in the build-up to Christmas for that matter. Are you holding on to the Fallout 4 dream? Give us your thoughts on this below.
