Facebook Vs. Google: Figures Show Social Networking Growth

Facebook’s growth over the last few years has been massive, recent figures from HitWise suggests that the popular social networking website is a lot more popular in the United States than many would have ever thought.

If you check out this link you can see detailed information regarding US web traffic, however please take into consideration that mobile traffic is excluded from the market research.

Apparently accounts for 24.7% of page views in the US, which is far higher than the 7% of US page views which currently receives.

Statistics from a year ago show that saw 16.7% of US page views, which means that it has gained an addition 8% of the market in a year, it will be interesting to see if Facebook can improve on this by this time next year.
