Facebook Scam For Branded Warehouse Clothing

We wanted to make you aware of the latest Facebook scam that is circulating online at the moment, involving a Facebook scam for branded warehouse clothing.

We all like a bargain, especially when it comes to clothes but you need to be sure that you aren’t getting trapped at the same time.

This is the typical description that you may have seen on Facebook right now. Note that scammers will use the same format, but change the location to your relevant area to make it seem more genuine – Cambridge, Durham for example.

After that, scammers will then set up an additional link with an online form for you to fill out. It’s disguised as being for those to ‘register their interest’, but in actual fact you are leaving personal details such as email and more importantly your mobile phone number.

In the wrong hands, you then leave yourself open to receiving all kinds of unwanted texts, some of which can actually cost you money if it is from a subscription number.

Hopefully none of you have already given out your mobile number on the same type of form as shown above. To help spread awareness of this new Facebook scam circulating, share this article and let your friends and family know of the dangers.
