Facebook for Android: Update now available

We have some good news for frequent users of Facebook on Android handsets now, as we can confirm that an update is now available for the App, adding more functionality to existing features.

As reported from Pocket-Lint, users of the App will now be able to view friends profiles, while you’ll also be able to view your friend’s photo galleries – a feature that was previously unavailable.

So to all of you who were getting bored of just seeing a live Facebook feed on your Android handset, this update should do the trick for sure.

If you want to try out the new updates, simply go to the Android Market, and to the ‘my downloads’ section – you should then see Facebook available to download.

Let us know how you get on with the new features.
