Fable The Journey: New game and possible Microsoft E3 2011 reveal

We have some exciting news for Fable fans now, as it has been revealed that a brand new game in the franchise could be set for a reveal by Microsoft at their upcoming E3 2011 press conference. Are you ready for another Fable game so soon after Fable III?

The rumors have surfaced from Superannuation, who reveal that Microsoft could be announcing a new Fable title called ‘Fable: The Journey’. This was highlighted by the fact that a domain website has already been claimed on June 3rd for ‘FableTheJourney.org’, although obviously nothing is set in stone until Microsoft confirms this.

It’s not the only rumored game to have a new domain website set up for either. There are also listings for Kinect Sports Season 2, Dance Central 2 and Kinect Fun Labs, as reported from Joystiq. Considering that the Fable listing was created at the same time, does that suggest that the new title may have specific integration with Kinect? – It will be pretty interesting if this Fable game turns out to be a spinoff from Fable III, or a prequel of some sort.

We highly doubt it’s Fable IV. ‘TheJourney’ to us sounds like it’s a prequel, and Kinect support may be one of the key features. We can’t wait until Microsoft’s E3 keynote to see if this is confirmed.

What are your thoughts on this? Would you like to see another Fable game on the Xbox 360?
