F1 2014 game announcement could be today

There is a great deal of excitement in the air, as fans of F1 could soon have a new PS4 or Xbox One game to drool over from today. There is a small chance that Codemasters could make an announcement today revealing the F1 2014 game, as it was on July 15, 2013 that lasts years game was announced.

It was Codemasters themselves who told fans that they should expect new information soon on the upcoming game, and the last time we looked their website was down for some unknown reason, although has just gone up again, so something is going on.

Codemasters Blog told fans to pop back soon, although no date was given. However, they did say to keep an eye on Twitter and Facebook, which makes us believe the F1 2014 game announcement will be a big social event for the developers as well.

It would have been nice to see the game announced during the British Grand Prix weekend, although we will not moan if it happens ahead of the German GP, which is this weekend.

We have already taken a look at some of the much-needed features of F1 2014, although we know you will have ideas of your own.

This year’s version of the game will have to be a completely new experience because of the technical regulations, and the horrible sound of those new engines.

What would be pretty cool is if we had the chance to take part in some test sessions within the game, which is when drivers test new parts in the hope of making the car quicker. How awesome would it be to take to the track and try out those new 18-inch concept wheels from Pirelli?
